WHAT WE DO
How the EDAO makes a difference...
OUTREACH
With a small staff and a core group of volunteers, we have managed to build a number of partnerships with local businesses and organizations from around the area. These partnerships have allowed us to create programs, host events, and encourage residents to become engaged.
The EDAO works at the ground level, helping bring immigrants closer to vital resources. Our agency offers programs that assist anywhere from public education to transportation.
SERVICES
As a community, it is our duty to help our youth prepare for adulthood. Creating education and cultural programs, we offer teens and children the opportunity to grow, build communication skills, and engage each other in ways they may not ordinarily.
COMMUNITY
Nothing brings people together like a well-planned party or event. Ethiopian Disability Assistance Organization hosts numerous fun-filled events and community gatherings throughout the year. From bike tours and 5K runs to spring concerts, events help raise awareness for issues affecting the community.
